Because with instagram, everyone is a professional photographer.
there are internships in may.

My stress level was rising as I heard nothing for weeks upon weeks. Then suddenly, the flood came.
Here in California, we have many incredible employers looking for MBA interns. When you get to business school, you learn quickly about the recruiting seasons. The giant corporations start recruiting the minute we get to campus in the fall (and at huge, competitive MBA career fairs). Then it’s quiet through the holidays until late January, when another season begins. Finally, there are the last-minute internships, filled at the final hour just before summer.
Of course, we all hope to get set up in the fall, and then only have school to worry about until the summer starts. Yeah…that didn’t really happen for me. Then winter came and went, spring came, and still no offers. I had indeed.com internship email alerts, checked the school’s career center board daily, and checked @mbahighway on Twitter all the time. Juggling school and the search became increasingly tough.
But all the work I put in eventually paid off. Out of nowhere, within the same week I got one offer, I got another. Then more. Then I got emails asking for interviews. It was like they all knew that my decision deadlines were that same week.
While interviewing at a few select companies, I couldn’t even believe that I was fortunate enough to land an interview there. It’s quite a Catch-22: Many of us are going back to school to reset our careers and start over in a new function and/or industry, but most companies hiring MBA interns prefer candidates with direct work experience in that function and/or industry.
That’s why you may want to make your own work experience. When employers ask what you want to do ideally in your career, they’re probably wondering why you’re not already doing it. For instance, if you want to make video games and work in the industry, create your own video game in your spare time. Or find a part-time job working for a small video game company, or on a similar project.
Hey, it worked for me. And don’t worry your life away, business students…there are, in fact, still internships available in May.

Except it's about to be June and I know some classmates who don't have anything yet (I won't name names, you know who they are)!
